Philippson Park – at City of Chilliwack

Behind a great playground, there is a great history! This playground is the result of hard work & the shared love of the Philippson Family! The park was donated by Rodney. J. Philipson, in memory of his parents and to all Canadian immigrants which came to the country. The marine-themed is a tribute to the great boatbuilding and fishing community around the City of Chilliwack. Children enjoy the life sea with the pirate ship “Galiano Queen”, a tribute to the real one from Rodney’s dad. Philippson park is a space with a strong identity that captivates everyone who visits it.
